The layout provides for the creation of two integrated two and three storey apartment blocks on site, with the creation of a pedestrian link between. The blocks are laid out n a curved form to match the natural western (roadside) and northern (stream) boundary on the site.

The two blocks will be predominantly brick and rendered surfaces with varying surface and colour treatments used to express distinct elemental forms. The proposal is primarily flat roofed, although the variation in heights and use of materials provides much variation to its form across the site. All new buildings will be constructed to exceed the current Part L regulations in terms of insulation, air tightness, energy usage and heat sources.
