13 Leeson Park

This project consisted of the conservation and restoration of a 19th century Victorian town house at 13 Leeson Park. Our brief was to restore the house and return it to its original single dwelling use.

The property situated on the West side of Leeson Park had been altered over the years and was being used as offices.

All internal office partition walls, which were not part of the original house were removed.

There was great emphasis made on preserving the internal finishes and materials without unnecessary substitutions.

Existing sash windows were fully restored. All existing cornices were protected and restored. Existing floor boards were kept. The quality of finishes, craftsmanship and attention to original detail were very important aspect of this project.

As the building only had 2 office toilets, new bathrooms had to be provide and sensitively incorporated into the house fabric

All three floors were fully restored.
